Mental Health Awareness

Third Level engages in large community engagement campaign to
raise awareness about crisis intervention and prevention services.

THE INITIATIVE

Third Level Crisis Center, a program of Child & Family Services, supports people from all walks of life who reach out for help with various life challenges. Celebrating its 40 years of service to the community, Third Level needed to raise community awareness about the organization’s 24 hour crisis intervention and prevention services, free legal services, and the full continuum of care for runaway, homeless, street youth and youth in at risk environments in the 27 counties it serves.

HOW WE HELPED

Honey Locust partnered with Project S.N.A.P. on designing a large scale campaign to bring thousands of people together around celebrating Third Level’s important role as a mental health service provider.  The Honey Locust team designed communication around mental health awareness including the production of a short mini-documentary highlighting some of the many members of the community engaged in the campaign.

In addition, Honey Locust and Project S.N.A.P. engaged members of the community in creating artworks for a giant mosaic mural used to bring people together around the theme, “Growing, Changing, Thriving”.  The large scale mosaic mural served as an acknowledgement and permanent tribute to Third Level and its tradition of helping people in crisis grow, change and thrive throughout the past 40 years and into the future.
